Today was the most stressful day I've had in a long time.  I started the day off on-time, but soon after I realized how many important things were supposed to go down. First, I had to give a status report on my Senior Project (I almost forgot about going to class). Went to Japanese class (received my mid-term exam grade of 53% [coincidentally, the class average]). Here's where it gets ugly--I needed a full-blown nice suit purchased, altered, and on my body by 4:35 p.m. It is now 11:30 a.m. and I'm driving to Mens' Wearhouse on the east side. Nice foreign guy starts helping me, realized when I wanted the suit (I was fully aware that it was an unrealistic expectation) and literally gave me a lecture that I totally deserved. He pulled some strings, and got me hooked up for today. I asked him approximately how much the total would be... $500+ (insert record-scratching sound effect here). Don't get me wrong, I totally knew I'd be shelling out a couple of C-notes for a suit, but I wasn't taking into account the fact that I had no matching shirt(s), tie(s), belt, shoes, socks, or anything.  Dress clothes are apparently expensive... lesson learned.  The next step was to call Kristina for approval of the national-deficit sized bill.  Kristina informed me that I really do need a suit, and since it would be tailor-made to my dimensions, and on time, that we should bite the bullet and buy it. Now I belong to the club of people who can say "I own Italian leather shoes," and I don't feel any different except that I'm a whole lot poorer.  I can say this, for the first time in a LONG time, I looked good and felt good.  See this terribly photographed picture for evidence.
