Alright, I'm tired of starting every post talking about how it's long overdue. So from now on, just assume that I'm being apologetic when I write a new post. Went to the Fall Festival last night and ate a Gyro, Sausageburger, and Philly Steak 'N Cheese sandwich. Kristina and I walked down there together at around 4:30. I didn't see anybody that I knew, but for the last 5-6 years, that's how it has been. Of course after seeing a former classmate of mine the other day at work, I doubt I'd recognize any old classmates anyway (The guy looked WAY different than he used to).

School hasn't been that great this semester. I'm losing focus, and I think it's because I'm almost through, I don't know about other people's experiences, but after 4 years in college with another 1 or 2 to go, I'm just feeling worn down. Japanese is great, I have no issues with that class. Humanities is even interesting, but like a dumbass I started the class off behind, and here we are 1/3 of the way through, and now I'm WAY BEHIND. I'll probably have to drop because I don't think it is possible for me to catch up now.

Every year, at this time when the holidays start sneaking up, I hope that the holidays will be more festive. I long for more involvement with my friends and family. What typically happens though is this: Halloween slips by unnoticed, Thanksgiving is spent with the family, Christmas is a short 4-5 hour visit with my parents, New Year's goes uncelebrated, rinse and repeat next year. I've been feeling empty and pessimistic. Since my blog started, a couple years back, I think there's been at least one post like this every year. Funny that. Oh well, here's the daily work forecast this week:

  • Tuesday : 2:30-9:45
  • Wednesday : Off
  • Thursday : Off
  • Friday : 4:45-10:45
  • Saturday : 5:30-10:30
YAY! Closing both weekend nights during the fall festival! Sorry, that was sarcasm.
