I ran a register for a short while today, it was mundane. Although, out of the 4 people I checked out, 1 of them happened to be Aaron Tanner. I got to meet his wife and baby. Nice lookin' family they were. Brings back some memories of the Fernspank days... and the BBS days... and the programming days... okay that's enough of that. Anyway, tomorrow will be another mundane (!) day at work. Here's your thought for the day: Why do people that I barely know ask me for advice like I've been their best friend forever? Talk amongst yourselves, there will be a quiz later.

Helped Kristina get her FAFSA and loan papers organized and filled-out. Hopefully, tomorrow will go smoothly... The Hello Kitty: Cube Frenzy game arrived today (it's fun). I'm still waiting on the Lupin TV Series #1 DVD to arrive from Hong Kong, it's been over 1.5 weeks, and other buyers reported an 8-day turnaround, maybe they were west-coast folks. Danette called today to report that she really likes Castle of Cagliostro, it's a damn fine movie, and if you haven't seen it, post me a comment. I'll hook you up. Also, if you dig anime and aren't a freak drop me a line! I don't watch hentai in groups, so don't expect to come over for a La Blue Girl party. I prefer the clean(er) funny stuff. More tomorrow!
I managed to finish my top-secret project today. Operation: Surprise Kristina. If she actually reads this blog, her surprise will be spoiled, because I've got pictures! But that's okay, because I'd like for her to read my blog. Here it is, in all its glory. Make sure to scroll through all 6 pictures to see what it is!

I talked to gribz today. We talked about beef jerky, Pepsi Blue, anime, Hello Kitty, Star Wars, Star Trek, and deranged fans of the latter 2. He wanted me to tell Angel that he said, "Hi." So consider it done. ^_^ Like an idiot, I rescheduled the party for a time when Kristina is not available. She has class that night (her last one to boot). And to top it off, she has a really important paper to finish, so now I don't know what to do. Would anyone like to reschedule? Oh, one more thing... if you haven't already, maybe you'd like to consider sending Sara a get well soon e-mail. Peace out.
This is going to be interesting. I'm going to try to sell my books today, and with any luck, actually get some money. They'll probably tell me that my books are in too shitty of a condition, or that they're not gonna buy them because they're outdated editions. Pessimism at it's finest. I was hoping that I'd get a few comments, since I just put the feature up. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting 30 or so messages, but maybe 1... or 2? With any luck whatsoever, some kindly soul will say: "'Sup dog. I read your blog, it sux0rs." I can't wait to play the Hello Kitty game that I just bought for PSX on eBay. My motherboard showed up yesterday, it's gonna be pretty fly. Just need some DDR ram and a CPU.

This morning, I was awakened by the gentle sound of my phone ringing. "Telemarketer," I thought and rolled over. "Hello, you have reached Chris Gr..." and then I heard my brother's voice. I grabbed the phone and answered, "Hello?" He was calling to tell me that he has to take a drug test today, because he's going to be working at Carhartt. This will be my brother's first real job, I'm very proud of him.
Today, I bought (4) brand spanking new Uniroyal Tires for the VW. They were $29 each, and I paid an additional $8/tire to get tire protection. If at any point in the tires life (even after 100k miles!), I happen to run over a nail, pothole, or whatever, FREE REPLACEMENT. It's nice to have a 10% discount to boot. Just added the posting feature of my blog. Feel free to leave a simple "Hello" or some commentary about a post. It should be a lot of fun. Kate's blog (shameless plug) uses this feature, and it's a lot of fun. I thought "Comment!" was a little catchier, especially since it took me about a week to click-on/figure-out what the hell "Shout Out" really was!

The day before yesterday, many great things happened, of which I forgot to login and report. a) Kristina came home early (the best news), b) I ran into Mike Young at Target (he's a great guy), and c) The Anime/DDR (sans anime) party happened, and turned out really well! Thanks everyone for making it a blast! I'd certainly like to do that again soon. Cranium, anyone? Gotta sleep now, work beckons bright and early at 7am. Oh yeah, I'm out of school! That is until I make the final decision to either return this fall to USI or take a semester or two off (pay back loans, sleep more, stare at my degree). I'm off Tues-Thurs, let's hook up!
