School has started once again, and I can safely say that this semester is going to suck very badly. It's not that the classes are difficult, or that my schedule is too busy, or even how many classes I'm taking. It's the PARKING. Evidently, while I was sleeping this summer, the number of enrolled students at USI quadrupled. The 1st two days so far, if they are any indication of the future this semester, dictate that I must do one of a couple things:

  1. Arrive at 7:30am
  2. Leave an hour early (and PRAY that I get a damned parking space)
  3. Get a monster truck and park anywhere I damn well please, including on the tops of other people's cars
Option 3 is really tempting at this point. If I snap and get arrested for destruction of property, please do not be alarmed, I won't be the only person that's been driven over the brink. The other day, I could not even buy lunch from ANY of the food places on campus. Lines were literally so long that in the hour I had free, it would not have been enough time to wait in line and buy food. Yesterday, I got to the campus a half an hour before class started... I could not find a single available parking place (no exaggeration) until 5 minutes before class started. I had circled the entire backlot more than 10 times, including the back and front rows, and nothing was available. I almost just left the campus. Today I'm getting to the campus early (before classes begin) and parking wherever the hell I damn well please.

Just checked out Download.com's new Video section. You have to register, but it's free and you can watch all the cool video stuff they have, and even host your own video files on there for free. Most interesting video viewed so far: Danny Way pulling the world's largest air over the Great Wall of China. If you go check it out, it's under the Sports >> Extreme Sports category.
