Not many people felt like trying to take the Mensa quiz, I suppose. Ah well, it's hard and time consuming so I don't really blame them. Today I had a mandatory meeting at Best Buy. It was quite interesting. I was SUPER excited about the job at first (during the interview process). Then it transitioned into doubt (after weeks of not working, etc.) Orientation had me worried, and now after the meeting I'm settled down again. I'm a crazy rollercoaster of emotions at this point in time. One guy who was in my orientation session got fired today because he didn't wear a collared shirt like he was specifically told. Crazy. I just want the semester to end with all of my assignments having been turned in.

For those with a little time to kill and the brain power to spare, take your shot at the Mensa workout. This is a teaser type of test required to join Mensa. Mensa members must have an IQ (determined by an "approved" test) in the top 2% of your country's population. Have fun! If you feel inclined post your results in my comment box. For the record, I scored 25/30 (screenshot will be provided later if anybody wants proof). I have to say that some of the questions were very tough. The time limit (which isn't enforced or measured is only 30 minutes). I did take a little longer.

Kristina bought a new digital camcorder yesterday. It's very nice, we just have to fully learn how to use it now. The best part is that we can make our own DVDs now. At first, she borrowed her parents old camcorder, which appears to have a dead battery (won't hold a charge anymore), for a school project. Then she noticed that a bunch of MiniDV camcorders were on clearance at Target. Of course she used her employee discount of 10%, followed by an additional 10% discount for being approved for a Target Visa. So this 20% discount on top of the already low clearance price made a huge impact on the price. My filmmaking career begins now! haha! Actually, Kristina needs some volunteers to help her with a class project (I'm helping too). Basically, what's involved is going to Ivy Tech on Saturday (THIS Saturday) and pretending to take a test at the Academic Skills center. If you'd like to help, post a comment or send e-mail. Gotta get ready now, as I start work at Best Buy today at 4:00pm.

I'm writing this post with the 30 seconds I have free. My schedule is tighening up very quickly. It looks like I'll be unavailable for approximately the next century. I'm now tutoring, teaching Night School, working at Bristol Myers and Best Buy and trying to attend my classes at USI. Somebody shoot me.
