Den wrote today to tell me that a package is on it's way from Japan! I get a feeling that Ryan's birthday present is in there along with Kristina's "Hello Kitty World Cup Commemorative Pin" from this year's World Cup. Other possibilities include Lupin III posters (yes!) and a miscellaneous mish-mash of whatever things Den could find. (He's good, damn good!) Keep checking back for updates!

I just got home from Mark's Metric in Chandler, IN. He's a really nice guy, in exchange for lining his computer out, he worked on my VW Golf. How do I meet these remarkable people? The same way I met all of my other friends... through the friends I already had. A tip of the hat goes out to the Waeldes. Life is getting better.
I just finished my 3rd accounting exam. It went surprisingly well. The scary thing is that I got finished in half the amount of time that was given (bad omen?). At any rate, I've done some more planning for the software house and also given some forethought to a possible anime convention here in Evansville. Since I have ties with people who have set up successful conventions in larger cities, I figure I should be able to learn enough to pull it off myself. Evansville is, after all, the central hub city to many larger cities. We're smack dab in the middle of Cincinnati, Chicago, St. Louis, Louisville, and Nashville. 6 hours in any direction will take you to at least one major metropolitan city. This is a good place for a convention indeed.

Does anyone remember how to dream? I'm not talking: "Hey, I had a weird dream the other night," but more along the lines of "I will own that $150,000 house over on.." The reason I ask is because I'm learning to dream again. You might ask "Well what good does that do you?" To which I would simply reply: "It motivates me. I set goals to work towards dreams."

All this talk of dreams leads me to my next announcement. I will be starting a new blog (in addition to this one) that is 100% about my software house. Stay tuned to watch it grow, and by all means if you're feeling inspired, talk to me! More about the company later!

Evansville makes the national news... The Onion's national news that is!
Adding one final thought, I've learned this lesson:

One shouldn't waste their time worrying about those who wish to be forgotten.
Today, I noticed how funny it is that people can just 'change' overnight. Things that once were important, no longer matter, and principles are thrown to the wind. Odd indeed. Kristina bought me a few new items of clothing today. I now have another (nicer) pair of army green shorts and a pair of blue jean cargo shorts, both of which are very nice. Also added to the mix is a beautiful dark blue button-up collar shirt. One final thought... it's wonderful to wish someone happy birthday only to be ignored, life is grand.

Whew! I just finished my 3 hour template. Of course, to make something look nice, it always takes a serious time commitment. Today, my back hurt so bad I wanted to cry. Work sent me home early, and Kristina and I got to watch a funky Jackie Chan movie. The movie title? Gorgeous... yes, that's right: "Gorgeous" the movie. A love story written and directed by Jackie Chan. I don't really recommend it, unless you're just curious about what kind of romantic things Jackie can create. That's all for now, please let me know what you think of my template!
