Job Interview

Today (Monday), I have an interview lined up for North High School as the AEA Supervisor. I'm not thrilled about the possibility, but it's a 40-hours-per-week job and the pay is only slightly better than subbing. There may or may not be benefits, but with the school's budget cuts, I'm guessing no on the benefits.

Yesterday, I went to my parents' house for lunch and catching up. It was nice, because I got to show my dad some new stuff about electronics that he didn't know. There's a first, me teaching my dad something! Afterwards, my mom and I went to my grandma's house and picked up her "Christmas Card List" of addresses for wedding invitations. I swear we're actually sending them soon. I'm already deathly afraid that nobody is going to come to the wedding, and here we are late with sending the invitations. For anybody that needs a reminder: the bridal shower is July 19th (Saturday) 2:00pm-4:00pm. The wedding is August 4th (Monday) 6:30pm-?. We are registered at Target, if you have any questions at all, ask me!

When I finally got to Evansville, I went over to Kristina's house, where she had reupholstered a chair, and I must say it looks 800% better than what it did. It's very cool. We went to the east side to drop off an insurance payment, and then to the west side Denny's Diner for dinner. There was a crabby old lady there with her grandson. The old lady looked like an ugly old man in drag, and she was arguing with the wait staff about whether or not salads and soups count as "sides" (which they don't). Then she swore up and down that they did, and that she had 'done this before'. I was so embarrassed for her grandson. Then as they went to their car (they left when we did), they got into a red 90's Mustang convertible. "How embarrassing," I thought to myself. Whew! Glad that experience is over with.

Also, I managed to take some funny pictures whilst I was widdlin' away the time in good old Kentucky. Hint: They are both signs. I'll post them as soon as I get the pics transferred from my camera to the PC.

Oh yeah, if you're sick of seeing " instead of ' on the Comment section, you just need to enter ' everytime you want an apostrophe to appear. <sarcasm>Talk about convenience!</sarcasm>
