Damn Quizzes

I take too many quizzes, and to prove my point:

You represent... angst.
You represent... angst.
You have an extremely cynical outlook on just about
everything. It's okay to sulk and be
depressed, but life is short, and you only get
one. It's only what you make it, and only you
can make it improve.

What feeling do you represent?
brought to you by Quizilla

I went to Electronics Boutique the other day, and guess what?! Greg Haller works there now... with Jeremy Winiger! This is surprising for two reasons. First, I was surprised to see Jeremy working there again, because he seemed happy to quit the place last time we talked. As it turns out, he's still working at Ashton too. The second reason I was surprised, is because when I saw Greg in the store, I thought he was shopping, so I started talking to Jeremy, and then Greg came over and was talking too... with an EB nametag on! Well, I'm glad he found a better job than G.D. Ritzy's.
Return from the Underground

I'm back in black, I hit the sack, been gone too long, I'm glad to be back. Okay, somebody should shoot me for 2 reasons. First off, I just started this post with lyrics from an AC/DC song; secondly, I know the lyrics. Well, things are going... much better now, methinks. The house inspections (pest and home) went well, and our realtor faxed our response to the inspections to the sellers. This is evidently the way these things work. We now tell the sellers things like "I told you that you were gonna have to fix that," and they'll probably reply with, "Okay, now that a professional has bitched about said problem(s) in writing, we'll fix them." After they agree to fix up the few minor problems, we'll be set to close. The few minor problems being
  • Disconnected condensation hose on the air conditioner, causing small amounts of water to run under the house
  • Moving an uncompliant electrical tap from one hookup spot to another
  • Unclogging the bathroom sink, so that it drains faster
  • Providing proof of a recent pest (termite) treatment, or treating it
  • Installing a gas shutoff valve to the stove hookup
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the progress of this house-purchasing transaction an 8 (almost finished). This means that most paperwork has been filed, all that remain are the above mentioned minor reparations, a home appraisal, a HOPE approval, and presumably a final signature. It sounds like a lot, but given all the other crap that had to be done first, it really is almost finished. We have now ordered our wedding bands from Helzberg in the mall. My ring is a 10.5 in size, and they are matching bands. Things really are moving along, I just hope that all of the groomsmen and bridesmaids have gotten their outfits selected. Invitations are being printed at the moment, and will either be mailed or hand-delivered depending on the frequency with which we see you. Kristina will be working until close tonight, so my 4th of July is kinda shot as far as plans go. :-( Oh well, I'm not very patriotic anyways. See last year's Independence Day events for some ideas of why... How can I forget, here are the results from the newest quiz:

Computer Crash... gone into hiding

Yes, my computer has bit the bullet. It didn't really crash on me, but as I was installing a new OS, the hard drive decided that it doesn't like to be formatted... No operating system will format it... I tried Mandrake Linux 9.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP and none of them will format the drive properly and install an OS. I'm posting this from work, so please do not use email for important or urgent messages... just call my house instead. As soon as I get back up and running, I'll post again.

Happy One Year Anniversary!

Sorry, had to sound off the celebratory salutations for such a silly situation such as this. If the alliteration didn't kill you in that sentence, I'll get you next time... fear not, I am a persistent person that perpetuates peskiness to people. Damn... no dice, eh? Alright, I'll actually wait for next time before trying to kill you with alliteration.
Damn Comment System...

That's right, I'm royally pissed at the Klink's for "removing" accessibility to the comments for this blog. I'm investigating other comment systems now, so expect a new replacement soon (probably within the week). Recently, I learned some bad (?) news about our wedding, which is the fact that Tom (my landlord and friend) will not be able to perform our ceremony. In his place will be somebody that we don't know, but is a long-time co-worker of Kristina's mom. Also added to the wedding entertainment roster... a live pianist. Be careful how you say pianist, because old folks think you're talking about anatomy. Okay, it's late, so I should go to bed now. But on that note, please check out the results of a quiz I took, and by all means take it yourself... I'd love to hear your results as soon as I get another comment system up.

So which letter of the alphabet matches YOUR personality, huh?
