Here I am sitting in my Digital Architecture class, and it's 10 minutes until class begins. Nobody is here yet. This is highly unusual, since I typically come in at five minutes till, and the class is almost completely full. I actually thought about checking to see if classes were cancelled today, although that would be idiotic since it is warmer than yesterday and with no snow on the ground. Oh well, does anybody have an old useless laptop? I still have to modify my English paper today, but that will take place between 10 and noon. I found that it's better to just e-mail my assignments back and forth, since floppy disks are too unreliable and CD-Rs still aren't practical enough. Most PCs here at USI also have a ZipDrive, but I'm not gonna pay $10 just so I can cart my assignments around. Besides, I don't have a ZipDrive at home anymore. Today, after my classes let out, I'm going to write a program for Brian that will rename a ton of files recursively in all subdirectories, removing any characters that the user specifies. It'll be cool. My guess is that he has a bunch of movies and songs with invalid characters for CD-Recording.

Aaron Carnal and I are hanging out. He told me that I should update since he is tired of reading about how I applied at Qualex. Point taken.

Just got out of English 201, where we discussed a really disturbing story. The title? Those Who Walk Away from Omelas. It's a story about a Utopian society that lives with a complex happiness. The entire society gets to live it up, because they were willing to put the brunt of hardship on one single child. Quite depressing really.

I swore I'd never use a Gateway computer again, but here on campus, it's my only choice. AC and I are in the downstairs computer lab in the Liberal Arts building. I should have brought my lunch today, but I forgot, so now I'm a little bit hungry. I could perhaps transfer some money from savings, then go the ATM and withdraw $10 and eat. Not sure what I'd eat though. I think I can make it if I can just last until 4pm.

It's taking longer than I thought to get around to making progress on the blog project, please bear with me. I promise it isn't dead, but rather on a delayed time schedule. Outside help would be speeding things along.

I'm going to take down the webcam link for 2 reasons: a. The program I was using crashes all the time, and b. I never use it.
