Couldn't help but share this story with anybody who managed to miss it. Please comment after you read it, it will spark much discussion, I promise.

Yesterday, I took my Japanese final. The written part was very difficult, and the oral interview, which I took some 3 hours later, wasn't too bad. The funniest part was when my professor said something like, "Anata ga Kiree na nihongo tsukaimasita." (That's NOT an exact quote) Which roughly translated means that when I speak Japanese it is beautiful. Then she continued to say, 'You need to learn how to form a sentence.' My Christmas break resolution: to study my behind off for Japanese. I want an 'A' in there next semester.

Here are my best guesses about what grades I will receive this semester:
  • A - Business Communications
  • B - Programming Languages
  • C - Intermediate Japanese
  • A - Biology
  • B - Management of Organizational Behavior
I'll post back later with my final grades and we can compare notes together.
