Today, I discovered that the movie Steamboy is getting a U.S. theatrical release starting on March 18. Upon learning of this wonderful announcement, I immediately sent the following letter to Stadium 16:

I was curious if Stadium 16 had any plans to show the upcoming Sony Pictures release of the movie Steamboy. Currently it is scheduled for a limited theatrical release starting March 18. My wife and about 6 of my friends have enjoyed your previous showings of Asian films, such as: Ghost in the Shell 2, Spirited Away, and House of Flying Daggers. We hope that you'll continue bringing Asian culture to the Evansville area.

If you have any interest in seeing the picture, I encourage you to also send a letter to increase the chances of seeing a major animation work-of-art in our humble town of Evansville.
