Yesterday was <SARCASM>great</SARCASM>. I worked from 9-3:00pm, no big deal. On the way home, I ran out of gas on top of the Columbia St. overpass. If you're having trouble remembering where that is, it's near the skatepark by Reis Tire on Columbia St and also close to the Post Office on Wabash Avenue of Flags. If I would have made it 20-30 more feet, I could have practically coasted to Thornton's on St. Joe, but NO! Thankfully, skaters are cool enough to loan a cell-phone out when needed. After a quick call to my wife-in-shining-armor, who lucky for me happened to be home, I was back on the road again.

And now for Part II. Kristina mentioned that fried chicken sounded really good, and I agreed. I called up KFC on the west side and asked if they took credit cards, which they do. So, we figured what the hell, we had 45 minutes to get and eat our food before I had to leave for the class I teach at North. It took approximately 9 decades to fry one of their new boneless chicken breast fillets, because they didn't know how to keep the product ready for consumer consumption (i.e. Cooking it ahead of time). Did they tell us there would be a wait? No. Did they hand out 3-4 orders that were placed after ours? Yes. Did I get angry about it? Yes. Will we be going there again sometime soon? Definitely not.
