This morning, I'll be meeting my mom at Impact Ministries to help load up a cabinet for my uncle Danny, who has just returned to the area after a one year stint in Florida. The family is glad that he's back (myself included). It had been a dream of his to retire and live in Florida, which I admire him for pursuing. However, lifestyle changes such as that require enormous amounts of planning, which became obvious after he and his family had arrived last year. It can be very costly, and unless you have decent work lined up before moving, it can be a struggle to start on the right foot. After moving a few times and switching schools several times, my cousin Daniel was getting exhausted and tired of the struggle. He opted to move back home (or at least close to home), and live with my grandma to finish high school. He is now much happier and even though his parents moved all the way back to Evansville, he will remain in Dixon, KY until he finishes high school this year.

On a different note, I hope people want to hang out tonight! I could sure use a Denny's shake right about now.

Today I went to a faculty meeting at the high school. Given that there was a drug bust the 2nd day I was there, it was no surprise to hear the discussion about "hidden signs" that students are drug dealers. Although, to me, the discussion sounded like this: "If they dress ghetto, they're probably dealers." Argh. It's so nice to have my evenings off again. If anybody hears about any nice computer jobs (no sales jobs, please), please drop me a line. I am continuing my search for the holy grail of jobs in the meantime. Now if only IBM would hire me... I'm gonna start working on a project for class, and if it turns out well, I'm going to post it for download. I'd like to try that "free software", but if you like it please donate by PayPal idea. It sounds perfectly reasonable, so I'm gonna try out some ideas and see if anything develops. Give me a call, I have evenings off now!

Big News! Sorta anyways... I quit Wal-Mart, hot diggity! Now I'll be able to sleep like a normal human being while still maintaining my commitment to the future leaders of tomorrow. Who knows, one of these students could be the next John Carmack (that'd be swell!). Also noteworthy, my computer has a fresh copy of XP installed (and working, the horror!), my 40X CD-Recorder is also now working (oh dear!), and I'll now have the necessary time to update this damn blog! Stay tuned, I'll be updating more frequently... much more frequently... (I promise!)
