Today, I discovered from a fellow classmate that my middle school art teacher, Jim Goodridge, committed suicide last week. His obituary [registration required] doesn't mention cause of death, although from what I have heard, a gunshot was allegedly involved. Services are being held tomorrow at 2:00pm at Alexander East Chapel. This is horrible news, as he was very well-liked and respected by his students. After the divorce from his wife a number of years back, I had noticed a slightly depressed spirit about him. I had a great number of things in common with him, as we both took an oddly similar set of high school courses including Latin and if I remember correctly, Sculpture. It's heartwrenching for me to imagine future generations who will never have the priviliege of meeting him or studying art under his supervision. Mr. Goodridge, you will be missed.

Just to be official: I am now working exclusively at BBUY. I am scheduled to work 4 more days at Bristol Myers, but that will be next week for 2 days, and then the following week for 2 days. The semester will end on May 7. My availability is slowly increasing, w00t! I am taking 2 summer courses, but I'm taking them one at a time. One class during the Summer I term, and then another class during the Summer II term. Summer III is open, so that we may hopefully repeat last year's honeymoon in Baltimore at Otakon. Anybody have any interesting or exciting news to break my boredom streak?
